The main source of water for Iringa Municipality is Little Ruaha River, the Kitwiru springs and boreholes at Kibwabwa. The Authority has a mini laboratory at the Ndiuka Water Works, whereby analysis for various water parameters such as turbidity, pH and Chlorine residue are monitored daily.
